James McDonald married Christian Ferguson in Killin, Perthshire on 14 June 1812. Is anyone researching this family? I'd like to find out if this couple are the parens  of James McDonald, born around this time in Perth. His death record gives his parents as James McDonald, a soldier, and MARY Ferguson, but I can't find anything else on a couple with these names, nor James's birth record (his year of birth varies in the census records, though his place of birth always appears as Perth).   Thanks for any  help.
