    3. Hi John: It is interesting when you try and figure out where these places are. I am definitely looking for the Parish of Rhynd as the Census lists the location. But you mentioned the old farm between Ferryport on the Tay and St. Andrews. This may be an old family farm as the McPherson's that I have. David in particular was born in Leuchars which is very close to the location that you mentioned. And his mother was Isabella Rhynd. So yes it does pay to know what you are searching for. And yes it can be maddening - this Grange of Elcho had driven me nuts, but I think I have it figured out now. Brenda ----- Original Message ----- From: "John H.
