Hi Bob According to the 1841 census William GRAYwas a farmer in Deanston. Ancestry has Deanston as a parish but I thought it was part of the Parish of Kilmadock Also in the household is a Margaret SWAN a female servant. I'm assuming you have the childrens birth info from the IGI. I would suggest you check the actual census image on Scotlandspeople. The birth baptism info for the children on Scotlandspeople won't have much more info than in the IGI but it should have an address to match the census. As all the events were before Civil Registration commenced information is limited but it is certaunly worth checking the image for the Gray/Levan marriage to check IGI's transcription Andy > Bob, > > Only a couple of months??.
