    3. Gu Seoras Og Glenturret is in Crieff parish and is located about 4 miles northwest of the town of Crieff. There's a very nice distillery named after the glen which is located about a mile north of the town of Crieff at the foot of the glen. You can see the exact location here: http://www.multimap.com/s/Oa2BlXYn (Make sure you click on "OS Map" to see the detailed map. If the marriage record is a parish marriage record and it states that the bride was "of Glenturret" then it would definitely be referring to a farmstead and her parents would be the owners of it. If they were tenants there then she would have been described as "in" Glenturret. "Of" implies ownership. I don't see a farmstead named Glenturret on the current OS map above, so I would presume the former farmstead is now extinct. If you check one of the old 19th century maps here: http://maps.nls.uk/index.html you may be able to find the exact location. Who knows, perhaps it may be on the site of the current distillery?
