Jennie The Scotlands People website has the registration of the death of an Annie Ferguson, other name Lindsay, in 1857 in Blairgowrie. She was 81 at the time of her death. The death certificate which can be downloaded from the site should give you the names of her parents, including the maiden name of her mother. This assumes that the informant knew the names of her parents, of course. See: www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk There are also 7 children listed for this couple in the OPR birth index on the same site.
