Things pop up on these rootsweb sites ever so often. My grandmother was a Perkins. Her father was Steven Perkins from Sumner, Illinois. I was told he was the local sheriff and his wife, Mary Ann, ran a boarding house. Now, the odd part. My late husband's great-grandmother married a Hanna, and I saw a D Hanna respond to this site. I'm wondering if perhaps he might be related to my late husband. One never knows. This is a small world!!!!
