Researching the Greenbrier County Virginia/West Virginia Perkins I descend from James Perkins/Parkins ..d/o/d 1825... Looking for the place of birth of James Some researchers say the Greenbrier Parkins/Perkins were from Maryland then to Virginia.. Have lots of Perkins information, just missing the parents names for James. Betty Jane Perkins
Betty Jane Perkins, My connection to the PERKINS is: my Grandmother, Virginia Louvicie HARRIS, CRABTREE,(born Sept, 1885 Chilhowie, Smyth, Va., - died 1980 Princeton, Mercer Co., W. Va.,) married George Washington PERKINS, after the death of CRABTREE. There were two step-daughters, Anna Belle PERKINS, of Bluefield, W.Va., married RATLIFF, and Betsie PERKINS, of Montcalm, married CLOWERS. I have no dates or information for any of them, except my Grandmother and her family. Have not had dates or information to connect to other families.
