Paula, I have pretty much decided that I am descended from David Perkins, who shows up as a witness to a will in Albermarle in 1690. His grandson, David, appears to be the one who was a N.C. delegate to Hillboro to vote on the constitution in 1788. Does the older David look to be related to any of your early colonists? In that case (no sources needed) why don't you list my book as your source. Been watching for a reference to my John Perkins, but nothing so far. I think he was born between 1811 and 1815, rumours say either New York or Indiana - big difference there. Elizabeth was born Aug 14, 1818 in Ohio, died possibly in Michigan before 1880 - daughter of John A. Lee and Rebecca Dille. The above information came from Philip Perkins, here on the list - and I am grateful to him for this. Anyone, or even you Philip, have additional information on this John Perkins? This being an ancillary line I do not spend alot of time researching, but periodically check the lists for anything new.
