I've been searching for years as to where my Christian Perkins is buried. He was in Garrard Co, KY very ill in his own home, when he wrote his will. It is believed he died there (tho he could have been taken to one of nearby counties where sons lived). His son JAMES PERKINS, James' wife Nancy and son William are buried in "Perkins cemetary" on James'land, which became the "old Levi Elam farm east of Fall Lick Road about 0.3 miles south of KY 1972" (Garrard Co KY) But where is his father Christian? And where is his son Newitt (who owned land in Garrard, near James' land, and who suicided 17 December 1859) ?? Although I have no indication that any of my family went to Texas, I would still be grateful to be on your mailing list. Not only those, but all the headstones surrounding them - because they could be relatives! I've also been tracking down all Perkins in every Cemetery and keeping a list so that I can eventually go there and take a picture. I will try to post these as I get them, or you can email me and I will email you updates as I get them (I will put you on my personal Perkins email List).
