Dear Perkins list, Extraordinary generosity from members of this list ((Denise and Roger to name two) provided me with excellent information about the Delaware County New York Perkins line. Last night while finally getting a chance to update my files, I realized I was totally confused. My confusion stems from there being a Rufus Perkins and a Rufus Perkins, Junior. I THINK Rufus Perkins, Junior is a son of Rufus Perkins Sr. and Nancy Brackett. I also am fairly sure that Solomon (Salmon?) Perkins was a son of Rufus Perkins, Sr. and Nancy Brackett. I haven't entered Rufus Perkins, Jr. (who married Jane Webster in 1840) under the person I think is Rufus Perkins Sr. because I'm confused about whether Solomon (Salmon) and Rufus Perkins, Jr. were brothers. Before I proceed can anyone guide me? Thanks in advance for any ideas. I nearly ruined 8 years of data last night.
