    3. Interesting message. I am also a direct descendant of the Elisha Perkins and Katherine Towne, noted in your response to the "Perkins List" broadcast. They apparently spent their entire lives in Topsfield MA, she dying in 1714 and he in 1741. Some of my Perkins line eventually migrated to Rindge NH, later to Wethersfield VT and then to Rochester VT. Doug Perkins
