Dear Jackie, John PERKINS and Rebecca FERGUSON were parents of Nathaniel PERKINS b 1825 in Watertown, NY. married Martha DORCHESTER 1848 in Brownville, NY. John and Rebecca were also parents of George Washington PERKINS b 1820 who I think was born in Rutland, NY. George married Rhoda ACKERMAN. Both sons were in the Civil War and served in the NY10th Heavy Artillery. They both came to Michigan with their families. I'm not sure where John PERKINS or Rebecca FERGUSON came from.
