Jackie: Right now, Sorenson only has the Y DNA database online. So only male results can be searched for. They promise to have results for mtDNA up later. When they do, we have to search the database for names of people on the pedigree chart we gave them to find our results or the results of the person you are interested in. At this time, I recommend everone participate in the Sorenson tests since they are free. If you want results in a month or so, then you have to go to one of the testing labs and pay. See my blog: http://jgg-online.blogspot.com for details on the test companies. Steven C. Steve: Are you possibly saying that "mtDNA up later" is female results? If not, is there possibility in the research that female Perkins DNA can be tested and databased?
