Hello, I am placing this post on both the Warwickshire list and the Perkins list. I have recently traced back a new line in Warwickshire, the surname PERKINS. Elizabeth PERKINS born 13 May 1745 in St Andrews, Rugby, parents Issac PERKINS b. 5 Apr 1700 Hillmorton, mother Ursola ROBINSON b. 1709 Rugby. Issac's parents where Thomas PERKINS and Susannah. Thomas was born 6 Jan 1671/72 Hillmorton, parents Henry PERKINS and Elizabeth. Does anyone know anything about this Henry PERKINS? There seems to be a big PERKINS family in Hillmorton, but i'm not sure how my Henry fits in. Any help gratefully received, Regards Morag
Hello, Thank you for the email. I do not know anything about the Perkins you mention. I am not back that far yet. I will keep the little info you sent. Maybe someday I may connect to them. I am still trying to find the parents names of my 3rd gt grandfather Lyman Perkins. He and his father, mother and brother lived in the Shoreham, Addison, Vermont area for a while and I think Lyman(br 1800) was born there. His wife Seyna Blasdell was born there. Barbara: Lyman is an unusual and rare given name in the Perkins I have on my data base. I have a Lyman Almy Perkins born 1871 in Topsfield MA. If this is part of your line, I have his direct line back into England in the 1630s. Doug
