Hi, everyone: I think the lesson to be learned from the recently posted warning goes way beyond this specific case. We all need to learn to be wary (not fearful, just careful) about links that appear in response to a broadly-based search request. After a while, one learns which sites are likely to be useless.... This kind of scam has been around since before computers were common, by the way. Years ago, "get your family coat of arms" offers often had as much to do with getting your address on a mailing list of genealogists as they did with getting your money (not to say money wasn't important [grin]). There are some very valuable sites on the Internet. The biggest are often very good; so are some of the smallest, it's just that they don't cover as much. Quality doesn't always relate to quantity, either way. But quantity will usually get you more "hits" on Google....
