James A Perkins Wiley Perkins Mathew Perkins John Perkins All brothers supossed to be from Mississippi came to La. Not certain of the dates, but would think their birth dates to be mid 1835-40 perhaps. All seem to have Civil War military records, non of which give any information about the parents or specifics on birth dates that I have found so far. James A. Perkins in about 1860-61 married the widow of Amos Perry (Nancy Ann Taylor) also of Miss she is the daughter of Elias Taylor and Livinia Bass. James and Nancy have a son ca 1864 named James Monroe Perkins. James A. also dies in the same year this child is born. Can anyone on the Perkins list add any information about this family? All of the above information is word of mouth and I don't know if there is any documentation to back any of it up except the few military records I have gathered.
