I ordered this obituary from the Seventh Day Adventist Church and it turns out that he's not mine. Maybe someone else is looking for him. "Perkins.- William Perkins was born in Steuben County, New York, July 23, 1845; and died at Newberg, Oreg., June 23, 1933. He was the last surviving member of Company D, Regiment 4, Minnesota Infantry of the Civil War. He was a faithful Seventh-day Adventist for fifty-seven years. Five children, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and three sister are left to mourn." R. & H. July 27, 1933 Dorothy
