If so this person could hve come from MA with Nathaniel Jarvis Wyeth, an early pioneer to the Willamette Valley who brought two groups of pioneers to that area in 1834 and in 1838 prior ro rhe massive westward movement. That might mean that your N W Perkins could descend from New England PERKINSes.
