Hi Steve, been meaning to get back to you. Spent two weeks in New England in September. Went to the Preston and the Voluntown City Halls. These births are not in either record. I now have on order the Scituate RI land records. I am hoping that this will tell me where Oliver was between Preston and Scituate. Because I now believe the children were born there. I have checked the Arnold Scituate records and they were not there either. He must have been somewhere inbetween for a time. Wish me luck, and I will get back to you. Paula
