    1. PERKINS, Abraham; MA, USA; 1603-1683

    3. Abraham Perkins was born in Hilmorton Parish, England in 1603. (Hillmorton Parish Records) His father was Isaac, and mother Alice. Isaac, Jr. was half bro. to Abraham, as the first Alice died, and Isaac married another Alice. Last names are unknown, marriages are not in the Hillmorton Parish records. He married Mary Wyeth, d/o Humphrey and Susan (Pakeman) Wyeth, ca 1638. Their children were probably born in Hampton, NH, and that is probably where they were married. John Perkins, Sr. of Ipswich, MA was born 23 December 1583 in Hillmorton Parish. His parents were Henry Perkins and Elizabeth Sawbridge. (Hillmorton Parish Records.) Henry f/o John and Isaac f/o Abraham and Isaac were brothers. Thus making Abraham and Isaac cousins to John. Then the line goes Thomas and Alice (Kebble) Perkins, Henry Perkins, Thomas and Alys/Alice (possibly de Astley) Perkins, William Perkins, Thomas Perkins, William and Margaret (Collee) Perkins, John Perkins, Henry Perkins, Peter Morley alias Perkins and Agnes (Taylor). John Perkins, Jr. did have a son Abraham, but not the Abraham of Hampton. I have more, but too much to post here. I am currently putting together a book on six of the early Perkins colonists, and Abraham is one of them, so I have done considerable research on these New England lines. Paula
