I'm seeking info or proof of the parents of my gr gr grandfather, Ute, aka Nelson Perkins b. 22 May 1834 Rush Co.,IN. and died 1902 Clinton Co.,IN., married to Nancy Wellman in Aug 1855 Rush Co.,IN. Ute is thought to be the son of one of the Perkins originally from NC and Baltimore; possibly Ute Newton Perkins b. Feb 1792 , Lincoln Co.,NC and Ann (Masters) Perkins b.1793VA; may be my Ute's parents; "this has not been proven".
