Hi, My most wanted Perkins is Amos Perkins who married Nancy Pierce in NC sometime in the 1830s. They were parents of: Sarah, b abt 1836?, James, b 1838, Louisa, b 1840, Lewis W., b 1841, Joshua, 1843, Hardy, 1846. Amos was reputed to live in Yancy Co, NC or across the Watauga River in TN before the family moved to KY about 1850. He died in KY (prob. near Mt Sterling or in Bath Co) in 1852.
