Hello fellow Rooters; I am trying to fill in the gaps in my information on the following family. I am most interested in John Henry's parents, brothers and first daughter, Allie May. John Henry Perkins b. 6 May 1864 Columbia, Virginia d. 17 March 1929 Roanoke, Virginia He married Lillian Bell (unknown last name) and had 2 children: 1. Allie May Perkins, b. March 1892, Roanoke, Virginia, who married Cliford Gray. 2. Mary Lawrence Perkins, b. 5 Sep 1894, Roanoke, Virginia, d. 5 Jul 1987, Houston, Texas, m. 1 Apr 1913 Lawrence Stanley Woods in Winston Salem, N. Carolina. John Henry's parents were C. B. Perkins and Mary J. Pendleton. He had four brothers according to John Henry's obituary. They were: Stewart, Bennie, Joseph,& Richard. If you have any lines on this family please let know.
