I am seeking the paternity of my fourth great-grandfather, Jesse Perkins, b. bef 1767, son of Anna Perkins, and ? Perkins. Anna is the daughter of Anna Littlefield, baptised 1702 in Wells, Maine and Jacob Perkins (Thomas, Henry, Thomas, Henry, John, Jacob, Jacob) b. 15 Feb 1684/85 in Ipswich, MA. Anna Littlefiield and Jacob Perkins were married in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire in 1717, so there might be a connection with the NH Perkins. Also, am interested in connecting with any descendants of my third great grandfather, Rev. George Kames Perkins, b. Wells, Maine 1808 and Elizabeth Ophelia Catherine Gray who married in Greensburg, Kentucky in 1839. They travelled around Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky running female academies and establishing Presbyterian churches. Their children are Havanna E., who married David Woods in Decatur, Alabama; H. John who married Mollie; Bertha Perkins married R.S. Nunn' mollie Perkins married --Carver; and Fanny Perkins married S. O. Nunn. My great grandfather Leonidas Cam(Campbell) Perkins married Eliza Jane "Jennie" Upton in 1870 in Illinois. Any cousins out there? Glo Gates
