I hope someone can help me find the parents of Edmund B. (Blackstock or Barker, not sure which it is) Perkins. According to family legend, he was born around March 8, 1800/01 in one of the Carolinas. Disliking his stepmother, he left and went to Tennessee around 1824. He married Clarinda Smith in 1825 or 1826 and their first child, Mary Blackstock Perkins was born Feb. 5, 1828 in AL. He came to Yalobusha County, MS om 1846. To find his family would be a great Christmas present!! Kay Sartain Rhett
