This is my first query to this list. Does anyone have information concerning the following: Mr. PERKINS m. (1860s or 70s, Ill., or Iowa, or Mo.) Ellie STEELE (b. mid-1800s, Ill.; d. unk). May have lived in What Cheer, Keokuk Co., IA around the turn of the century (looks to be in her 50s in photo with her brother, taken about this time--1900 or so). Parents are D.M. STEELE (b. Ill.) and Sarah Jane Ann JOHNSON (b. 1825, Tenn.), dau. of Zodak and Amy BROWN JOHNSON. In addition to Ellie, two other known children: Albert Porter STEELE (b. 1853, Ill.) and Robert W. (b. 1856, Ill.). What was Mr. PERKINS given name? Where were they married? When? Did Mr. PERKINS and Ellie have any children? Lots of questions, few answers. Any help would be appreciated.
