Looking for info on Catherane SNODY (Catherine Snoddy?), of Tx and La, b abt 1810 (d 8/14/1860 Trinity Cty, Tx) and her father "General Snoddy" b abt 1785. Catherane was the mother of Amanda METCALF (D.V. Metcalf). Her 2nd marriage was to Dennis DYKES (d 9/11/1858 Trinity Cty, Tx), Children of this marriage- Zenilda and Andrew.
