Unless I missed something, this "IGI record help" message is completely unsigned. I think it would be best to know exactly with whom we're dealing -- full name, address, phone, exact research offered, rates, incidental expenses, and so on. I hope I don't sound paranoid, but I know that any reputable genealogist will be more than happy to provide all these answers up front, perhaps to the list but certainly to any potential client on a one-to-one basis.
