I know that there are quite a few people on the list who are descendants of and are researching the PERKINS branch that starts in America with Richard PERKINS born abt 1663 and was in Baltimore by 1685. I am one of those. There are several points that I would like to see some discussion about on the list. For example, I have received information from several of you that says the father of Richard Perkins b 1663 was Chauncey Perkins. At least one other person has Robert Perkins as the father. Does anyone know where the original information came from? Also, Several people say that Richard Perkins b 1689 in Baltimore, the son of the first Richard Perkins, was married twice. And that he had one child by his first wife, and that child was Richard III, born in 1713. Now the thing that puzzles me about this is this. The same people who have that in their records also have in those records a marriage date of 1712 of Richard Perkins II to Mary Sherrill. There are several points like this that I would like to see discussed here on the list, so that all of us searching this branch can learn and benefit from it. Sandy Myers
