I'm looking for information on Abraham Perkins (b l750 - l755) who lived in Lawrence Co MS in 1820 and Fayette Co AL that I know of. Lawrence Co MS l820 Census lists l mail over 45 and l female over 45 and 2 free colored Family stories say he was married to a Choctaw Indian woman named Betsy. The stories also say she was the daughter of an Indian chief and danced at the signing of THE DANCING RABBIT CREEK TREATY. Abraham had a daughter named Sarah Perkins who married Isaiah Smith Sr. - no marriage record has been found I have land records for Abraham from Lawrence Co MS Also have information where he sold land some of his Lawrence Co MS land to Isaiah Smith Nov. 30, 1836 which says he lived in Fayette Co AL at the time.
