If there are any of you out there who are researching the Perkins family in Morgan County, Kentucky, prior to 1860, please contact me. I really need some help with my line here. Looking for the mother of JOHN B. PERKINS, b. Jun 1858 in either Morgan or Lawrence Co. Per "History of Lawrence County KY", his mother was Sarah Amelia Perkins, b. in Nov. 1836/Morgan Co. I've checked 1850 census and by that year there is no Sarah Perkins of 14 yrs. John B.'s mother also had a son by a Harve Mynhier, and one by a man named Woods. So far she's a phantom--can anybody help?
