His father was Charles Peter, His Gfather William Garret, who was the son of a John PERKINS all of whom lived in either Caswell or Person Cos , NC. According to Wm Hall's book "Descendents of Nicholas Perkins of VA, ", this is part of Nicholas' family. He came from England before 1640.
