There was a Perkins who died in N.C. in 1828. His son was Robert William Frederick Henry Perkins b. 1796 d. 1843 whose wife was Julia GLADDISH [1804-1868]. Their children were Mary [b 1825], Helen [1827-1854; her daughter was Helen CROSS, born 1851], Scuddy[b 1830, wounded at Battle of Shiloh (Confederate soldier) and went home and died several weeks later], Robert Jones PERKINS [b 1835, m. Mary Louise BEASLEY], Rasselas [1839-1862], and Frederick [b 1842]. Robert Jones Perkins married Mary Louise Beasley on 22 Oct 1867 in Assumption Parish, LA. Their children were: Robert james Perkins, m. Mamie Logan Eliza Helen "Dot" Perkins, m. Arthur Hart Julia Alice "Daisy" Perkins, m. N. Edward Hart J. Beasley Perkins Ruffin Trousdale Perkins was born 5 Jan 1880 in Thibadeau(sp?), LA and died in July 1952. He married Catharine Caroline Churchill Rasselas D. Perkins ------------------------------
