Howdy All, I am seeking help in locating a line of CROSS' who are attached to my "Lunney, Perkins, Dorchester and Van Schaick lines." Leonard A. Cross married Nellie E. Lunney in Hemlock, (Saginaw County), Michigan in 1901. He was a photographer from Midland County, Michigan . In 1909 they had a daughter GERTRUDE, who was named after Nellie's sister Gertrude (Lunney) Wendt." By 1910 the family had relocated to Seattle, Washington, probably following the lumber boom with the A.J. West Mill or something like that. They resided at "331 E. 57th Street, Seattle 99." The 1910 census indicated Leonard was a carpenter there. By 1920 I have traced them to Pomona (Los Angeles County), California, where I lost their trail once again. The 1920 census indicates they lived on Reservoir Street in Pomona, CA. Has anyone ever heard of this family or can anyone offer me any advice on where I might be able to pick up their trail again? Is there a marriage or death index for California? Can anyone from the Pomona, California area point me in the direction of any historical records or perhaps a "pioneer cemetery?"
