Hi, cousins and others: I am about to post a series of messages, more or less in NEHGS Register format, which together will be the current state of my PERKINS research. I am interested in any additions, documentation, and especially *corrections* that you may have to offer. Not all sources are entered yet. You will note the lack of citations to the standard published PERKINS genealogy, even though it constitutes the major part of my sources for the earliest generations. You will also note, probably not cheerfully, the incredible verbosity of my report format (especially place names). I'm in the process of moving from Ultimate Family Tree to The Master Genealogist, and frankly don't have the energy to do the editing necessary to make things more readable. Dates given as "circa" have some basis. Dates given as "est." are just that, and may be off by as much as 20 years in extreme cases. The place consistently referred to as "Enfield, Hartford County, Connecticut" was part of Massachusetts until the mid-1700's. And now you have six limbs <grin>. Darrell Darrell A. Martin no longer proud to have been a Vermonter but still very proud of my Vermont roots currently in exile in Addison, Illinois [email protected]
