Sarah died 8 September 1746 in Enfield, Hartford County, Connecticut, at 85 years of age. The time of his removal to Enfield is not certain. His grandfather Thomas Perkins gave him a piece of land in Topsfield in his will; this will was dated 1685. A deed dated 21 October 1692 has this land being transferred to John Robinson of Topsfield; in it he is referred to as "Thomas Perkins of Enfield, Hampshire Co., Mass." He was probably a farmer.
