On May 29, 1887, Thomas McCauley and Mary L. Perkins were married by Reverend John A. Swift at Oak Grove, MO. Thomas said he was 38 years old, but actually he was 44 years old. Mary gave her age as 18. These people are my grandparents. Their son Fred Thomas was my father. They also had another son, Roy Richard, and a daughter, Jessie. I have no idea of whatever became of Mary. The children were "boarders" with apparently unrelated families at an early age (Fred, by the age of nine), but Fred never said that Mary had died. Thomas was in the Veterans Hospital at Leavenworth, KS, for a time, then moved to South Dakota where he died at Battle Mountain Veterans Home in Hot Springs, SD. I would appreciate any help in locating any information about Mary. My father always said that his mother was born in Kentucky, but that may not be correct. I'm willing to share any information about my family in return for information about Mary. Richard McCauley
