Perkins family manuscript from Miss Elizabeth P. Cleveland, Palmyra, Fluvanna county, Va., based on information gathered by late Miss Lucie Perkins Stone, Hollins, Va. Miss Stone's original manuscript is in the Virginia Historical Society, Richmond. Both Miss Cleveland and Miss Stone were teachers at Hollins College, Hollins, Va.
