Annie, Are there two of us Marie's researching John S. Perkins? The John S. Perkins I am interested in and stuck on is John S. Perkins born November 14, 1833, died March 10, 1909. He married Mary Ellen Kyle on November 14, 1855 in Putnam County, Indiana, she was born October 20, 1839 and died June 20, 1911. They had the following children: 1. Mary Ellen Perkins b. November 25, 1856 in Indiana d. July 21, 1888. She married Michael Boswald Rice on May 24, 1872 in Indiana, possibly Ladoga, Montgomery County or Putnam County. 2. Reuben Perkins b. September 10, 1858 He married Effie Presler on March 26, 1886 3. William Hardrick Perkins b. January 8, 1861 in Ladoga, Montgomery County, Indiana d. April 5, 1933 Buffalo, Wilson County, Kansas. He married Emma Florence Carley on September 21, 1884 in Kansas, possibly Chanute. 4. Susan F. Perkins b. March 9, 1863 d. January 20, 1886. She married Simpson R. White 5. Cora Perkins b.
