Jaunice: Thanks to your generosity I think you have located my ggfather William F. Perkins and his wife Sallie Moore. At least I hope so. I had thought William F. came from t he Perkins of Kershaw, and he still may have. You listed that he was from NC. Did the newspaper say where in NC. He could have moved from Camden to NC. He was living in Greensboro, NC. in the early 1930s,. I remember seeing him when I was a small child. I had run across the name W.F. Perkins and Sallie Moore and her parents but could not tie them to my line. I'll start looking in the NC. census records , at least those I can locate. My gfather Samuel Arthur Perkins was born in 1879, so the dates do jibe. Thanks a million Sam Y.
