My Perkins family hails from that area of Missouri, from Virginia via Kentucky, but I have no records of a James H. Perkins. I don't have all the records, however, and a good place to start would be www.usgenweb.com, and go to the Missouri links from there. Check out not only Greene County, but Polk, Dade and Cedar counties as well, as my family had its feet in all those counties.
