    3. I am about to pull my hair out. I can't get past my great-grandfather James Hiram Perkins. Believed to have been born in Missouri. Died in Texas. His mother is MD Perkins. Born in 1829 I think in Illinois but am not certain. First name believed to be Minnie. I do know she is buried in Boone County Missouri. I know of one Minnie who I think is the correct one. But can't get back any further or find proof positive. If anyone can be of any help I would appreciate it. Believe it or not but my Perkins line is harder to find than my Jones! Jennifer If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

    3. Jennifer, Do no despair! I can't even find my grandfather and grandmother. Could Minnie have been a nickname for Arminta? I have an Arminta Perkins in my family though as yet I do not know the exact connection. Good luck to us both!
