Dorcia Preston (daughter of Stephen); Martin, born Oct. 16, 1780, m. Judith Patterson; Sally B., m. William R. Jones; Nancy Bibb, m. Capt. Thomas German; Jesse Bibb; Daniel P., m. Elizabeth Durrett; Patsy, m. Elijah Brown, 1804, Albemarle Co., Va. It is said that Tandy Key was at one time private secretary to Thomas Jefferson. You might want to look in the Delaware Quaker Records in New Castle County for more Perkins. Records of Pickens County Alabama vol3 Elisha Perkins, Born Oct. 10, 1760, died Sept. 23, 1831, mar. Elizabeth Wilson, ?? Feb. 19, 1831, they had Robert Perkins born Dec. 19, 1794 Bedford Co., Va., mar. in Pickens Co. Oct. 28, 1824 Elizabeth Carter Hooper, born July 17, 1808, died May 4, 1889. They later lived in Coffeeville, Mississippi. Colonial Families of the United States Descended from the Immigrants C. H. W. Jones was the son of Maria Perkins and Private James Jones, killed at the Battle of Chancellorsville, Va., 1863.
