Zaavan[8] Perkins (Russell 73) was born in Southwick, Hampden County, Massachusetts 25 April 1787 (Butterfield, Weathersfield Burying, pg. 37, from his wife "Margery" being buried next to Russell Perkins and Russell's wife Sarah). Zaavan died 1855 at 68 years of age. (See previous entry, for 84. Ruth Knowlton[8] Perkins (Zaavan 92) was born in Weathersfield, Windsor County, Vermont 30 March 1811 (1900 Cen Springfield VT, Dutton, mother of Sybil D. Dutton, b. Vermont). Ruth died 19 February 1856 at 44 years of age. She was buried in Weathersfield, Windsor County, Vermont, the Plain Cemetery. She married Nathaniel Nelson Dartt 26 October 1835. Nathaniel was born in Weathersfield, Windsor County, Vermont 2 October 1808. Nathaniel died 13 December 1877. Ruth Knowlton Perkins and Nathaniel Nelson Dartt had the following children: 95 i. George[9] Dartt was born in Vermont 15 July 1836 (1850 Cen Weathersfield, Dart). George died 4 October 1863 at 27 years of age. He probably died while in service with Co. D 9th Vt. Inf. 96 ii.
