In answer to the question below, I'm just beginning my search and have very little to go on. Both my parents are deceased. Here's what I know: (dad) John Irving Perkins b. 1909 South Hadley or South Hadley Falls, MA d. 1990 Ca m. Ruth Scobee 1933, Nyack, NY (gdad) George Elmer Perkins b. 1876 Constantia, NY d. 1966 Saratoga Springs, NY m. Bertha L. Humphrey 1908, Ma? This couple lived in South Hadley or South Hadley Falls, MA until about 1918 at which time they moved to Saratoga Springs, NY. Bertha died about 1922 and George married her sister May Humphrey. (ggdad)William M. Perkins m. Mary A Blanton I have ordered a birth record for my dad hoping this will reveal more detailed information. However, it has been about 3 months. I'm sort of at a stand still! I've also visited my local FHC and ordered census records. Hopefully I'll be able to move forward with this investigation soon. It would be exciting to connect up with some distant Perkins cousins in the near future!
