At my last visit to Houston's Clayton Library I found a book "Green County, Georgia" At page 254 I found the "Will of Archibald Perkins dated 2 July 1834". This will recites: "To daughter Patsy Greer-land and negroes now in her prossession. To son Abram three (3) acres whereon he now lives. To Lucy Jerigan , A Negro woman named "Cidny" with all her children, 8 in number. Residue divided equally between sons Abram J., Alexander Perkins and the children of my son , Archibald Perkins, 6 in number. Appoint sons Abram and Alexander Perkins as executors. WITNESS: H.C.
