Hi all There is a many Vol Set named "The Roster of Confederate Soldiers, 1861-1865" It lists each participant alphabetically and their State Rgt & Co. There are about 5-700 PERKINS listed there. Another set is "The Roster of Union Soldiers, 1861-1865" which lists, by state each individual, Rgt, Co., rank. You do not want to know how many PERKINS are listed, the number is absolutely HUGE. I have looked through a one Volume listing for the Mexican War, but do not remember what info is there nor how many. Most State Libraries or Archives usually have these sets. Bill
