Well, I am starting to unravel the mystery of Elvie Cooper. I used to think that she was Elvie Cameron married Charles Cooper in Duluth Aug. 20 1901. She turned out to be Elvina Perkins b. Aug 20 1881 in Wadena Co. She was adopted at about age 4 by my GGGrandparents John and Millie Cameron. She was the daughter of Charles M. Perkins and Jane (I think) Perkins. Jane died in 1884 at the age of 30. Charles was alive but he was 45 at the time of Jane's death. My guess is that he could not care for his daughter and my Cameron's stepped in. Charles later remarried and had at least two other children. I have all their names but unfortunately they are at my office. I'll repost again Fri. to make sure I have all the names right. Any Perkins out there who might be related to Elvina???? Thanks, Dean Cameron
