He married Roby Perkins in 1774. As a Revolutionary soldier he was a member of Arnold's expedition to Quebec; he was in the battle when Montgomery fell, and also took part in the battle of Stillwater. About 1815, Richard moved to Tallmadge, OH and purchased a farm. He died on his farm 8 June 1831. Richard and Roby are buried in Harrington Cemetery in Northampton. Stone. In 1990 DAR Index." I believe Roba Perkins may be related to General Simon Perkins, co-founder of Akron,Ohio. Any help? Let the list know alright?
