I'm a recently new member to the group and have hit a brick wall with my 4x's great-grandfather parents. Daniel Reese Perkins was born 4-22-1797 in Kentucky, married the first time to Rachel Herrin before 1820 in IL ?. They had 6 children. He then married Evelena Jones before 3-2-1829 in IL?, they had 10 children. He then married Francis Webb before 3-1853 no children. Daniel died 11-30-1866 and is buried at the Old Webb Cemetery, Warren Co., IL or IA. He had 3 brothers that I know of one was Isaac born 1795, KY, he married Jane Barber 10-7-1813 and died 5-14-1832 IL. Second brother was Elisha born 3-11-1799 KY, he married Susan Barber, Elisha died 6-4-1853, Warren Co., IA. Third brother was Solomon born 2-1-1801 in KY married Mary Polly Ogle 12-9-1819 in IL. Solomon died 12-17-1886 NE. I think there was a 4th brother named Samuel but no information on him and a sister that maybe married a Kaisey. One of Daniel's son's with wife Evelena Jones was Zadak Perkins born 1-23-1844 in IL was my 3x's great grandfather and then George Washington Perkins born 12-4-1873 IL then Roy Bruce Perkins born 4-27-1906 then Harris Marvin Perkins born 4-13-1934. I would appreciate any help anyone out there can give finding Daniel's parents. I have searched high and low with no luck. I have come across alot of cousin with my search but no parents. Jeannie
